The CMS Bond Referendum passed and this means Lansdowne will get its replacement school. Construction on a new 45 classroom building will start in June 2020. If all goes well, our current 1st graders will move into the building at the start of their 5th grade year in August of 2021.

Lansdowne is on the priority list for a replace school if the bonds pass. Please consider picking up a yard sign to show your support for the 2017 School Bonds. Email [email protected] to get your sign. We will also be handing them out at Back to School night!

The $922 million dollar CMS Bond Package will be on the November 7th ballot. A replacement school for Lansdowne is included in the Bond package. As November 7th draws neared, the PTO will be working to get the word out about the Bond package and its impact on our school.

A few months ago, Charlotte-Mecklenburg announced plans for a $798 million dollar bond for school improvements. Lansdowne is one of the schools included in the bond. If it passes, we will get a brand new school building.
